Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

Wow, hasn’t Jefferson Lane changed over the last few years so much building going on. We took the pooches today and stopped at Barefoot Palm Beach for a chocolate peanut smoothie. No chippies!

Just loved Swell today. Brekkie stop at Barefoot. So many great sculptures/art. This one is Migaloo.

Burleigh headland walk

Georgeous day . walked from Neptunes at Talle to James St around the block and back to Talle. looks great now the roadwork has finished . later did a 2 bridge walk with Byron and the puppies so total 7.6km. Feel so lucky to live on the Goldy.

We left the doggies at home today, give them and us a break 😝 just a couple of weeks left in September hope to make my target raising funds for pancreatic cancer research and to add to team Bloor. Our son in law Matt has amazingly come through a tough period in his life. Anna and the boys so supportive each step of the way through his long treatment including a very difficult surgery. now onwards and upwards enjoying each day 💜 what would we do without the funds for ongoing research and support from Pankind.

Walk in between bouts of rain I had to drag the dogs around. Then on the last bit Holly decided she had to go for a swim in the creek. 🤣2 dogs washed once home . ☔️🐾🐾
