💜 REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 2026 💜
This September, my beautiful wife Lauren and I are taking part in Remember September, raising funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer.
Throughout the month, we’ll be walking 78km for the 78 Australians who lose their lives to pancreatic cancer every week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers. Because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, it is often diagnosed too late, and the survival rates remain devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day, and it is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
On a personal level, the pancreas is something I honestly knew very little about until a number of hospital admissions with pancreatitis over the years. While my own experiences are in no way comparable to a pancreatic cancer diagnosis, they have made both Lauren and me much more aware of the pancreas, the important role it plays in our bodies, and just how serious diseases affecting it can be. It gives this challenge a little extra meaning for us. 💜
But research can change the future.
So throughout September, Lauren and I are challenging ourselves to get moving and complete 78km together, while raising as much as we can to help fund vital pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
If you’re able to make a donation — no matter how big or small — we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.
💜 You can donate directly to our team here:

And if you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this post and helping us spread awareness means just as much.
We will remember them.
We will honour them.
We will fight for them. 💜
