My target 78 kms

Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

I'm walking this 78km in memory of a beautiful lady that was like my second mum Jackie Scott.  Jackie had known me since I was 4 years old. Not a day went by without walking into Jackie's home and she always had something cooking in the oven or setting in the fridge and even as a single mum Jackie always offered me one of her special treats. Jackie and her daughter Lisa gave me Chloe who is in my profile pic. Chloe and I are going to walk this together every day in memory of Jackie.

So this September, I'm walking 78km for Jackie and for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
