Tupuola’s legacy, Our purpose !
This September, we are walking 156 km in memory of Tupuola Tasesa Faalogo and to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research.
Tupuola was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, a loving father to his six children and a man whose faith was at the centre of everything he did. He was deeply involved in his Samoan church community, faithfully serving others and sharing God’s love wherever he went. No matter what circumstances he faced, he never stopped praising God or trusting in his plan.
He was known for his kindness, sense of humour and his greatest priority was ensuring his family was cared for, working endlessly to give them the best life he could. He always put others before himself, making sure everyone around him was cared for before thinking of his own needs. His generosity, compassion and unwavering faith touched the lives of so many people.
Pancreatic cancer took Tupuola’s life far too quickly. Just five months after his diagnosis, he sadly passed away. Despite everything he endured, there wasn’t a single day that he wasn’t grateful for the time he had with his family and the life God had blessed him with. His strength, courage and gratitude continue to inspire us every day.
We are completing this 156 km challenge in his honour—not only to remember the incredible man he was, but also to help fund vital pancreatic cancer research and support for families facing this devastating disease. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to earlier detection, better treatments and ultimately a cure.
Every kilometre we walk is for Tupuola.
