Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm giving up alcohol to honour the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week and in remembrance of my father who lost his battle last month.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to give up something I can't go without to fight this terrible disease.

I lost my father to pancreatic cancer a month ago, and I wish he didn't have to suffer like he did. Research is so important, and new advances in treatment can prevent others from going through what my family has. I love you dad, and as long as I am alive and missing you, you'll be here with me forever.
