Support more research for Pancreatic Cancer
I still don’t know how to describe the past 4 months. I don’t know how to explain the privilege and limbo land of visiting Scotland, I don’t know how to express my gratitude and also my grief or how much I learnt about Peonies. Auntie Katrina was an elegant, fierce, loving, intelligent, funny and charming being. There has been heavy heart ache but also an appreciation for life, love and family connection. All with a hideous amount of unfairness.
So for now, I’m going to join my mum and walk.
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm joining my mum and challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
She always did walk, if there was a purpose. Gardens, history, events, health. Why drive, it’s in walking distance…
