Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 150km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. On the 30th of June, 2025, I lost my sister. An incredible woman, wife, mother, sister, aunty, daughter, friend, health care professional. She has left a huge hole in the world.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 150km to fight this terrible disease.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have messaged me, phoned me and touched base as I’ve been in Scotland since the 23rd May.
Home to Australia on the 5th of Aug and I’d love some company while I train and prepare for the big walks in September. Remembering Katrina and all the lives of our precious family and friends who have lost someone to this awful disease.

Katrina was an incredible nurse, high in her field, but but mostly known for being a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Pictured here with her beautiful children. I took this photo last year when they came to visit from Scotland. We drive around to local historic spots that included this little Lilly shop. Precious memories.
