Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 75km and abstaining from alcohol for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating. It took Mum from us in just under six months.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. It is BRUTAL.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km (with no reward glass of vino at the end) to fight this terrible disease. Bells is walking 100km and no coffee!!

I walk along in my life feeling so blessed to have known one of the kindest, most gentle and loving souls ever to have crossed my path. Even better than that, she was my Mum. Her time here was cut way too short by this horrid disease and we live without her incredibly beautiful contributions to our day. She will never get to see her grand kids get married, drive a car, be parents themselves nor even eat her favourite vanilla slice ever again. If we can help cure this rotten disease I feel it’s a damn good thing for the work and all those kids and grandkids that get to keep their MaMa’s 🥰
