💜 78km for Russell 💜
This September, I’m walking 78km for the 78 Australians who lose their lives to pancreatic cancer every week.
This challenge has become incredibly personal for our family.
Just a few weeks ago, our beloved father-in-law, stepdad and Poppy, Russell, was diagnosed with stage four, inoperable pancreatic cancer at just 60 years old.
The diagnosis has completely changed the future we had imagined for him and our family. Russell had just retired and was looking forward to travelling with his beautiful wife, Gill. Instead, they are now facing something no family should ever have to face.
Russell is a wonderful husband, dad, Poppy and friend, and we want to do everything we can to support him, Gill and our family through what lies ahead.
So this September, I'll be putting one foot in front of the other for Russell — and for the thousands of other Australians and their families affected by this devastating disease.
78km. 30 days. One very important reason.

Every dollar raised will help support pancreatic cancer research and improve outcomes for people and families facing this disease. Pankind's goal is to triple pancreatic cancer survival rates by 2030, and research is desperately needed.
