Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
As part of a research team at Monash University, I work with scientists dedicated to developing better therapies and improving survival rates for people with pancreatic cancer. Every day, we see the urgent need for more research, more breakthroughs, and more hope for patients and families affected by this devastating disease.
That's why this September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest and deadliest common cancers. Because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, it is often diagnosed too late, leading to devastating outcomes.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

Meet the Monash University research team—the Pancre-ass Kickers! We’ve laced up our sneakers and stepped up for Remember September. We aren't just walking to raise money for pancreatic cancer research; we are the actual scientists working every single day to find breakthroughs and fight this disease head-on!
One Week In Update
Our Team Goal: We’ve already raised over $4,200 toward our $6,000 goal!
My Personal Target: I've smashed 50 km out of my 200 km target by logging early morning and late evening walks before and after work.
