Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I’ll be walking 78km for my mum, who has been battling pancreatic cancer.
My mum is one of the most beautiful, caring and strongest women I know. She has always been someone I look up to, and watching her face something so incredibly difficult with so much strength and courage has only made me admire her even more.
I’m hoping to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and support the research that is so desperately needed.
The 78km represents the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer every week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
