Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
In 2021, my mom was diagnosed with a tumour in her pancreas. Thanks to all the doctors, my mom was lucky to have a surgery to remove the tumour. My mom is the strongest person I know and although I am happy my mom won the fight, I acknowledge the 78 who dies from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
