Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
As an oncology dietitian, I have had the honour of supporting people and their families through the challenges of pancreatic cancer. Seeing firsthand the impact of this devastating disease has strengthened my commitment to helping improve outcomes for those affected.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, survival rates remain devastatingly low. Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day, and it is the third biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Funding groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research is critical to improving early detection, developing better treatments, and increasing survival rates.
That's why this September I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving, and walk 78km to help fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support my fundraising efforts and help make a difference for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
