Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
Doing this for my Dad - Russell, who we are not ready to say goodbye to yet. Facing a shock diagnosis at the age of 60, all of our lives have been flipped upside down in the blink of an eye and what should be him celebrating his retirement and travelling with my mum like they've been planning, they are instead having to plan for the unimaginable.
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
