Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. My beautiful lifelong friend, Leonie, was one of them very recently after a brief and brutal battle with this terrible disease.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

And of course it’s a beautiful tribute to your friendship. This dreadful disease is in every family & ours is no different. John is currently under the care of a pancreatic specialist since a small growth was found Nov gone. Great news so far after the most recent check (last week).
