Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
I’m walking 75 kilometers this September to raise money for pancreatic cancer research, and I’m doing it for my mum, Megan.
Earlier this year, my mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She means the world to me and to our family, she’s the heart of everything we do, always giving her time, love, and care to everyone around her. Now it’s our turn to show her how much she means to us. This walk is one small way I can honour her strength and fight, and hopefully make a difference for others facing this devastating disease.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest cancers, survival rates are tragically low, and treatments haven’t improved enough over the years. It often goes undetected until it’s advanced, which makes it harder to treat. But with more research, there is hope. Advances in early detection, treatment, and care could change outcomes for so many families in the future.
By supporting my walk, you’ll be helping to fund vital research that could improve survival rates and give families more time together. Every step I take is for my mum, and for everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer.
