Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
So… as you all know Andrew has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer which has turned our world spinning upside down so in September, I'm giving up a vice to honour the 78 Aussies who die from pancreatic cancer each week. My vice of choice is alcohol because I reckon it will be a challenge for me but measures nothing against the strength and resilience needed to battle this insidious cancer.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to give up something I (think) can't go without to help to fight this terrible disease.
I would love it if you would please consider making a donation to support this cause which has changed the charted direction of life for Andrew and I.
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
