Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

It has been just over 100 days since Mum passed from this terrible disease. About 4 times the amount of time we had from diagnosis before she passed. Anything we can do to improve outcomes, give people time, understand how we can find it earlier, and hopefully screen for it like we manage to do for some of the other cancers, is got to be worth it. I am grateful and humbled for the support I have already had, now 2/3 the way to my goal. While this pot of orchids has put on a tremendous show, my thoughts return to just missing her in my weekly routine.
