Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
Hi! I just completed my own journey from chemotherapy to half marathon and I'm determined not to waste all that work and fitness, I'm going to keep up the training for next year, but this time maybe raise some funds along the way during those boring endless kilometres.
This September, I'm running for pancreatic cancer research. I do not want to step on the toes of the people who have been supporting this cause longer than me, but if I'm running anyway, maybe help those people with the fund raising.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to keep running to fight this terrible disease.
