Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

I will be walking to honour my parents family members whom have lost their lives to this vile disease. My beautiful partner Nick, lost his mum, Judy on the 26th of December 2023 to pancreatic cancer. Judy had only lost her father herself, 18 months prior to pancreatic cancer as well. Unfortunately, Judy’s younger sister, Wendy, also recently lost her battle of pancreatic cancer. This wholesome family’s world has been repeatedly rocked by this illness, and we want to raise awareness to diminish its everlasting impact on the family and others in the future.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.
