Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I am taking on the challenge of running 78km throughout the month of September to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer — a cancer that is very close to my heart. 💜
14 years ago, I lost my Pop to pancreatic cancer. From his diagnosis to his passing was only 120 days. Losing him at such a young age and seeing how quickly this disease took him from our family is something I will remember forever.
Sadly, pancreatic cancer continues to impact so many families, with many people being diagnosed every year. Pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease. Because early-stage pancreatic cancer often has few noticeable symptoms, raising awareness and improving early detection are critical to hopefully changing outcomes.
By completing 78km across September, I hope to honour my Pop, remember those we have lost, and help spread awareness so more people can recognise the signs and seek medical advice.
Thank you to everyone who supports me, donates, or helps share this important message. Every bit of awareness helps.
For my Pop. For those we have lost. For those still fighting. 💜
