Support my challenge to remember my mum!
This September, I'm walking 300 for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
More importantly for me this is a personal heartbreaking thing with losing my mum to this horrible horrific cancer. It took my mum away from me, she passed away far too young and left a hole in my heart and my family that can never be replaced .
I’m doing this walk for my mum. To honour her, to remember her and how tough she fought.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 300km to fight this terrible disease.
