This September, I'm walking 75km to remember my beautiful Mum and for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

Walking for Mum - In Loving Memory of Lorraine 💜💜💜 This September, we’re walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. Our beautiful mum, Lorraine, passed away peacefully on Friday 11th July 2025 after a brave and well-fought battle with this horrible disease. We miss her every single day and are doing this in her honour. Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. Early symptoms are rare, which makes it incredibly hard to detect—and survival rates are devastating. If you’re diagnosed tomorrow, there’s only a 13% chance you’ll still be here in five years. But research can change that. By taking on the Remember September challenge, we’re walking to fund critical research, raise awareness, and fight for better outcomes—so no other family has to go through what we’ve been through.
