Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

In July we lost an amazing friend of mum's to pancreatic cancer. Phuong Nguyen was an amazing force in the Asian community.  Meeting mum as her hospital interpreter at Mater they became amazing travelling buddies.  She was patient with mum and of course interpreted along the way. They went all over world! They made amazing memories all over Europe,  Canada,  Alaska,  New Zealand  to name a few. She was there for mum's medical things but there for us as well. She was our voice of reason when mum wouldn't listen to us. She was always the perfect person to intepret and explain things but also lectured us as well!

Her diagnosis was early and we were all optimistic but of course nothing is textbook.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
