This September, we're giving up a vice to honour the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. Our beautiful sister, daughter, mumma and friend, Cassandra is one of them.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, we're challenging ourselves to give up something we can't go without to fight this terrible disease.

Our mum has pancreatic cancer. We are only 11 and 15, and we never imagined that cancer would become such a big part of our lives. We want our mum to be here for all the things we still have ahead of us — birthdays, holidays, Christmases, watching us grow up, and one day seeing the people we become. We know that Mum is fighting as hard as she possibly can, but pancreatic cancer needs better treatments and more research. Too many families are losing someone they love. So today, we are making a donation to Pankind on behalf of our family. We’re donating because we want other children to have more time with their mums and dads than we might have been given.
