Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm running 234km and giving up alcohol for my Dad and the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Our Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2023. He continues to defy the odds against him though it has been far from an easy journey for him so far.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and run 234km whilst giving up alcohol to fight this terrible disease.
