Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I’m running 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer every week, but most importantly, I’m running every single kilometre for my incredible mum, Jo, who is fighting pancreatic cancer.

Watching someone you love go through cancer changes you in ways you never expect. Pancreatic cancer has had an enormous impact on my mum, our family and all of the people who love her. It has brought heartbreak into our lives, while also showing us just how strong, courageous and incredible my mum is.

There are so many moments I wish I could take this disease away from her and I wish that no other family had to experience the pain that pancreatic cancer brings.

I can use my voice to raise awareness, and I can help raise money towards research that could give families like ours more hope for the future.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I’m challenging myself to get up, get moving and run 78km to fight this terrible disease, for Mum, for our family, and for every person and family affected by pancreatic cancer.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
