Walking for Mum - In Loving Memory of Lorraine 💜💜💜
This September, we’re walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Our beautiful mum, Lorraine, passed away peacefully on Friday 11th July 2025 after a brave and well-fought battle with this horrible disease. We miss her every single day and are doing this in her honour.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. Early symptoms are rare, which makes it incredibly hard to detect and survival rates are devastating. If you’re diagnosed tomorrow, there’s only a 13% chance you’ll still be here in five years.
But research can change that.
By taking on the Remember September challenge, we’re walking to fund critical research, raise awareness, and fight for better outcomes—so no other family has to go through what we’ve been through.

I joined this challenge in tribute to my beautiful mum Lorraine. 💜 We lost her in July after her incredibly brave 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her deeply. Mum was the most loving, strong, and selfless person, she gave everything to her family, and her courage continues to inspire us. Walking 75km this September, alongside my sisters, has been our way of honouring her life and carrying her memory forward. Together, we’ve raised over $13,600 to support research and awareness, in the hope that one day other families won’t have to go through what we have. This was for you, Mum. Always loved, always remembered 💜💜💜
