In Loving Memory Of
Chris
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
In Memory of Gilly
This September, we're walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Almost 4 and a half years ago, Nicole lost her Dad, better known as Gilly, to pancreatic cancer. We’re doing this walk in his memory and to raise money and awareness for a disease that has changed so much for those who loved him.
Pancreatic cancer is one of those diseases that is hard to detect and changes everything so quickly. There is still so much more that needs to be done when it comes to research, early detection and treatment. We are walking in memory of my amazing Dad, who I miss so much, and hoping we can raise as much as possible to help make a difference for other families facing this awful disease.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
If you’re able to donate, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, big or small, helps.
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
