Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

The profile photo is me with mum literally 2 weeks before she died of the horrible disease Pancreatic Cancer. As you can see she should have had many years left but was given 3 months to live by the time we knew she had it. I did not know it is the third biggest cancer killer in Australia with 12 people diagnosed every day.

So this September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. Not to be a hero but just to give friends a little nudge if you would like to make a small donation . My goal will fund a single extra day of research but who knows, that could be the day….

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms as with my mum , and the survival rates are devastating.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease. It’s a small effort for a mighty cause .
