Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 156km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. I am also walking to support my sister who is currently fighting pancreatic cancer. We also lost my daughter's godmother to pancreatic cancer in 2016. This disease has touched our family and I would like to see a cure found so other families don't have to deal with the pain this disease has dealt us.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
