Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I’ll be taking part in the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Walk, by walking 78km in memory of my beloved Pop. 💜
Last year, our family sadly found out that Pop had pancreatic cancer. Not long after his diagnosis, he suffered a stroke and sadly passed away.
I’m taking part in this walk to honour my Pop, keep his memory alive and help raise awareness for a cancer that affects so many families.
Unfortunately, pancreatic cancer can be difficult to detect early, and the survival rates remain very low. Only around 14% of people diagnosed survive for five years. 💜
These statistics are why raising awareness, supporting research and improving early detection are so important.
