Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I’m walking 100km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer every week.

For me, this isn’t just another fundraiser. It’s personal.

I lost my beautiful mum to pancreatic cancer when she was just 58 years old. Years earlier, her aunt also lost her life to this devastating disease. Now, my uncle is facing the same diagnosis. (We’re hopeful for a positive outcome) 🙏

Three generations. One cruel cancer.

With such a strong family history, it’s impossible not to wonder how many lives could be changed through earlier detection, greater awareness, better treatments and more research.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers because it rarely causes symptoms in its early stages. By the time it’s found, it’s often too late.

Every day, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, making it Australia’s third biggest cancer killer.

That’s why this September I’m committing to walking 100km—to honour those we’ve lost, to support those still fighting, and to help fund the research that gives families hope for a different future.
