Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I’m taking part in Pankind’s Remember September challenge, and I’ll be walking 78km to stand with Australians impacted by pancreatic cancer.
This challenge is particularly close to my heart because I lost my grandad to pancreatic cancer. Having experienced the heartbreak of this disease within my own family, I know how devastating it can be — and why better research and treatment are so important.
Pancreatic cancer is a global challenge, affecting families both here in Australia and in Portugal. In Portugal, around 1,900 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer each year, and approximately 1,800 people lose their lives to the disease annually. Sadly, the survival rate remains very low, making research and earlier detection critically important.
My fundraising efforts will support Pankind’s groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research, helping to improve early detection, develop better treatments and ultimately increase survival rates for those impacted by this devastating disease.
Please consider sponsoring my 78km challenge to remember those we’ve lost, including my beautiful grandad, and to stand with everyone currently impacted by pancreatic cancer.

Together, we will remember them.
We will honour them.
We will fight for them.
Thank you so much for your support.
