Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking and running 78km for the 78 Australians who pass away from pancreatic cancer each week but most importantly in memory of my Mum, Jenny.
Mum was diagnosed on my birthday in October 2024. She passed away in the early hours of Boxing Day December 2025. Mum was not ready to go, she had so much of life to look forward to and I’ll never forget ensuring her that she will never ‘just be a photo on the wall’. No day goes by when we don’t think about her, talk about her and miss her deeply.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating. Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. Upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers including pancreatic cancer now have the highest mortality rates in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to walk or run 78km to raise funds for Pankind.

For my Mum, Jenny. It is so hard to believe I am posting on a tribute wall for you and like everyone else on here, you are not supposed to be here. Mum was diagnosed on my birthday in October 2024 and passed Boxing Day 2025. 9 months of missing you every day. Mum was such a kind and caring soul and loved getting to know everyone’s story from the people closest to her to people she met in the community. She always had a way of finding a connection with everyone. Deeply loved Mum, wife, mother in law, nanny, daughter, sister, family member, friend and colleague. Remembered always 💜
