Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, and for the second year, I'm walking 78km to support research to end the fear and trauma that come with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Most importantly to me, I'm walking to support my inspiring and strong mum who is a pancreatic cancer survivor! I thank God and her medical team every day because I know that so many do not get the outcome and time that we've been gifted following this diagnosis.
It's been a hell of a rollercoaster since mum's diagnosis and, once you're on the ride, you never really come off -- ongoing tests and surveillance keep the trauma and fear right under the surface, with anxiety rearing it's head every time.
Pancreatic cancer is scary and tough. We MUST do more to improve early diagnosis and intervention, treatments and long-term survival rates. This year, there's been some incredible news about treatments that can improve outcomes for patients. But these advancements cost money and we need to get more support for patients in AUSTRALIA.
I'm humbly asking for your help to bring an end to pancreatic cancer. For my mum and our family. ❤️
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
