Support my 78km challenge in honour of my Dad, Antonio Lopes.

This September, I’m taking on Remember September and walking 78km for the 78 Australians who lose their lives to pancreatic cancer every single week—a reality our family knows far too personally.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest, most aggressive diseases to face. Because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely shows symptoms, early diagnosis is rare, and the survival rates remain devastating. Every day in Australia, 12 more families receive this heartbreaking diagnosis. It is currently the 3rd biggest cancer killer in our country, but it doesn't have to stay that way.

Research is the key to changing the story for future families. Every single dollar raised goes directly toward funding groundbreaking research, improving early detection methods, and fighting for better survival outcomes.

Walking 78km this month is my way of keeping Dad’s memory close, pushing through every step for him, and doing my part to help change the future of this disease.
