Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

The little things

Sunday 16th Aug
Today's walk was a nice one - taking in the little moments, the ants, the bees, the flowers and the new growth, just as Mum would have. It was also a great way to bond with Sam and have some fun on the way - Flip A Coin Walk!! 4.5 kilometers of having no idea where we were heading, at the whim of a coin - heads turn left, tails turn right. what an adventure and a great way of proving that sometimes being in control can hold you back from amazing things.

Today I enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the sun, taking in the sights, noticing all the little things that Mum would have loved - basking in every little moment and sharing memories of Mum with Sam ♡
