Please support my challenge to detect & fight pancreatic cancer earlier
This September, I'm walking 200km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So, this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 200km to fight this terrible disease.
If you can, please make a small donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My Tribute Post

For my beautiful mum, Janet, who left this world seven short weeks after diagnosis in January. At 68, she was not ready to go, but being the brave woman she had always been, she courageously said her goodbyes and gently made peace with her destiny. An incredibly strong, loving, protective, loyal, kind and fun person; always with that infectious smile putting others first...you're a tough act to follow. Miss you every minute, of every hour, of every day.
