Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 156km for Pancreatic Cancer. This challenge is originally 78km to represent the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. I am doubling the distance because I didn't just lose my Mum to this cancer, I lost my Nana too. So 78km each in their honour.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 156km to fight this terrible disease.
