Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

As you are all aware on 5th September 2023, after 4 and 1/2 years battling this devastating illness, I lost my gorgeous husband Gary. 

This September, not only am I walking 71kms in memory of Gary but  I'm also walking for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. When I did this walk a couple of years ago this number was 63! 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.
