Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

My friend Rose was sunshine and salt. She was open water and wide horizons, narrow lanes and wide arms. She was walks on the beach, swims in the sea, chats in the changerooms and drinks at the pub. She was chlorine and bleach and coffee, coffee, coffee. She was have a go, give a hand, grab a lift, just do it. She was set jaw, top ten in the world, four of three, 5.3 seconds, Rottnest again and again and again. She was weekend getaways, market brunches and long lunches. She was opera and karaoke and (reluctantly) poetry. She was warm apple crumble and cold winter dips. She was dinner and dishes and out the back door. A quick nod and a sharp wave. She was fancy stuff and no fuss, long lashes and steel caps, passionfruit sponge and porridge. A sharpshooter and straight speaker. She was the centre of the frame and the life of the party. A leader and a legend. She is loved and missed.
