I want to remember my grandpa!
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
I would like to remember my Grandpa Bernie, who sadly passed away on 5th of June 2024, and I feel that this would be a great way to remember him.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
