Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I’m walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer every week.

But for me, this isn’t just a number.

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Since then, our family has seen firsthand just how devastating this disease can be. We’ve watched someone we love face treatment, side effects, uncertainty and the reality that there are still far too few effective options for pancreatic cancer patients.

And Dad is just one of so many.

Every day, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and 78 Australians die from it every week. It is now the third biggest cancer killer in Australia.

These aren’t just statistics. They are someone’s dad, mum, partner, child, brother, sister or friend.

I’m walking for my Dad.
I’m walking for the families who have lost someone they love.
I’m walking for those currently fighting.
And I’m walking for the people who deserve better treatment options and a better chance of surviving this horrible disease.

Because research can change the future.

So this September, I’m getting up, getting moving and walking 78km to help raise much needed funds for pancreatic cancer research and to give hope to the people and families who desperately need it.

If you can, please make a donation and support me in this challenge. Every dollar helps.

We will remember them.
We will honour them.
We will fight for them.

💜 For Dad. For all of them.
