Walking in honour of Greg
This year my dear friend’s brother Greg died of pancreatic cancer. One of 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
In September I am walking 78 kms to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and funds for research. I’m walking to honour Greg and his family.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Please spread the word. Our support will help fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research to improve diagnosis and treatment of this dreadful disease.
