Every Step for Dad 💜
This September, I’ll be walking 150km to raise funds for Pankind – The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, in loving memory of my Dad, Jaycen Green.
For me, this challenge is about so much more than the kilometres.
It’s about recognising the privilege of being able to move my body and using that privilege to honour someone I'll love and miss for the rest of my life. Every kilometre I walk will be for Dad, for the families who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer, and for those who are still fighting.
There is something incredibly powerful about uniting with a community of people who have all been touched by this disease in different ways, but who share the same hope and the same mission; to see a world without pancreatic cancer.
Throughout September, I’ll walk the 150km with Dad firmly in my heart, knowing that every step helps raise awareness and vital funds for pancreatic cancer research, support and, ultimately, better outcomes for those diagnosed.
