I'm Moving It this September!
This September, I'm walking 68km for the 68 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week and to honour my son, Todd's memory and wishes to help find a cure..
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer of Australians, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only an 12.2% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 68km.

Saturday 2nd Sep Another 3 kms this morning in the freezing wind - so looking forward to Spring weather so we can walk further...Thank you to all my supporters so far - keeps me going!!! Share

Friday 11th Aug On average I have been doing 5 days a week at 3-5 kms each time..I tried to go further but with 2 knees needing replacements its just a push too far.... I am happy with that and I talk to Todd as I walk telling him all about whats happening...sometimes I feel he gives me a sign I am doing ok.... Share
