Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

I keep up with Pankind as my mother died from pancreatic cancer in October 2022…My youngest sister is currently going through genetic testing (no symptoms just being cautious) so awaiting her findings. CJ and I met years ago during our critical care training, and through every stage of life since—from nursing shifts and wild nights out to weddings, raising her three beautiful kids, and becoming godmother to her daughter Aria—she has been my anchor and my best friend. Watching her face this cancer diagnosis with such extraordinary courage, grace, and strength leaves me in complete awe every single day. She has always been the person who shows up for everyone else without hesitation. Now, it’s my turn to show up for her. This fundraiser is a way for us to surround CJ, Chris, Aston, Scarlett, and Aria with the comfort, practical support, and love they need right now.
