Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating. Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia. But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates. So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease. Please make a donation to support me, and together... We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My Tribute Post

In loving memory of my Dad, the one who brightened up my world. ☀️ It’s been 10 years since you left us, but you still shine in my world like there has been no change in time. I love you and I miss you so much. You will forever live in my heart. ❤️

Walking in spring, remembering…🌸

Monday 12th Oct
September is over, but I’m still walking in memory of those who are no longer here or are still fighting their battles. Every time I see beautiful flowers, I wish for their lives to become a little easier, filled with hope and courage. I wish for them to heal. And not just them, but everyone walking alongside them in their battles. May they find healing, grow stronger, and bloom like these beautiful flowers.💜💐

Will I be able to make it?

Tuesday 22nd Sep
Today, September 21, I’ve just passed 25% of my 78 km challenge for pancreatic cancer research. That means I still have 55 km to go with just 9 days left.  I'll have to do more than 5 km a day to achieve the intended target. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if I can make it, and whether I’ll reach my $480 fundraising goal. Maybe people are too busy, or perhaps they don’t feel this cause will ever affect them. But we never really know. All I can do is keep going and do my best to finish what I started. However, I’m truly grateful for the support and encouragement I receive from the Remember September community. 💜

Day 5: slowly but surely, i’m getting there! 💪

Sunday 20th Sep
I thought walking 78 km in a month would be something I could achieve in a short time. But once I started, I realized it takes serious effort, consistency, and attention. I need to put in more focus and effort to reach my goal. There were many unexpected obstacles along the way that slowed me down, but I’m not giving up. I’ll keep pushing myself, stay consistent, and try my best to get there. One step at a time! 💪🔥

Day 2: proud of my little supporter ❤️

Sunday 20th Sep
My little nephew wanted to support my fundraising walk today, so he jumped on his bike while I run behind him. 🥰 We made a little scribble on the map, but I'm so proud of my little supporter. ❤️
