Helping Michelle getting the treatment she deserve!!

Hi there, my name is Imala! Earlier this year, my second mum, the mum of one of my closest friends, Michelle Walker, was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.

This woman is an inspiration beyond words. As a teacher at BDC, she has touched the lives of thousands and thousands of children, staff, families and friends. She is always fighting for what is right, and refuses to back away from any challenge without a legendary fight!

She has brought this incredible attitude with her to this battle against this cancer. Time and time again she has faced enormous challenges , but time and time again she has pulled herself up, healing herself and others along the way. Michelle is a superwoman, showing the world that true superheroes don’t need to wear capes!

I am walking this September to remember how lucky I am to have such a strong woman in my life. Thank you to the Walker clan for always feeding me bowls of weetbix and Indian curry after surfs and school, you have been such an integral pillar in my life and have contributed to making me the person I am today.
